PITKETHLY, Robert
Robert Pitkethly is a university lecturer in management studies (intellectual property) at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. In addition, he is a fellow and tutor in management at St. Peter’s College, where he is also a senior research associate of the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre. His teaching and research interests are centered on strategic management and the management of intellectual property. He has worked as a management consultant in connection with a wide variety of technology-based and general management issues and has also worked as a qualified U.K. and European Patent Attorney in both private practice and industry.
He holds degrees in chemistry, business administration, and Japanese studies. Prior to moving to Oxford, he was a Research Fellow at the Judge Institute at Cambridge University. He has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Intellectual Property and the National Institute of Science and Technology in Tokyo.
